Teresa Krieger

Painter, Mixed Media Artist

Teresa Krieger’s artistic journey began in the countryside of Grovetown, Georgia, near Augusta, where a childhood surrounded by nature and a creatively rich home inspired her early passion for art.
At sixteen, Krieger’s high school art class sparked a deeper commitment to art, leading her to study art and interior design in college before specializing in occupational therapy. This blend of disciplines gave her unique insight into art as a tool for healing and self-expression. Throughout her career, she maintained a strong connection to art by designing custom interiors and exploring color and composition at home.
A personal crisis prompted Krieger’s return to painting, focusing on vibrant nature scenes and landscapes. Working from her studio in Frisco, Texas, she uses mixed media alongside watercolor, pencil, and oil, combining intuitive and deliberate techniques refined through ongoing study with established artists.
Her work is known for its dramatic use of complementary colors and expressive style. Highlights include the “World of Wine” series, featuring layered acrylics with semi-precious stones, and large abstract florals like “LeFleur.” She has also collaborated on artful tablescapes in the “Artist and Chefs at Home” series.

Influences such as Georgia O’Keeffe, Claude Monet, and Hiroshige inform her evolving style. Krieger’s art has been exhibited in galleries across Texas and collected in the U.S.
