Heidi Kidd

Heidi graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology (New York, NY) with a degree in Textile Design, and spent a semester at The Winchester School of Art in England. She also attended The Art Students League (New York, NY), where she studied classical painting and drawing. She has spent many years as a professional textile designer, well-versed in techniques of luma ink, gouache, watercolor, acrylic and oil. She uses the translucent nature of the paint to build her paintings with layers from light to dark. She has an interest in eco-art subjects such as animals, landscapes, and flowers, and she hopes to bring awareness to natural habitats and the environment..
