McKinney En Plein Air 2024

McKinney En Plein Air 2024 will kick off at The Cove on Friday evening with an exhibition of plein air paintings done by the competition artists during the past year, and a Quick Draw contest. On Saturday, over 30 artists will be painting en plein air around the Historic Downtown Square and in nearby McKinney parks. The event ends back at The Cove with the famous "Exhibition on Easels" show and sale, artists' reception, and awards ceremony. Judging the art this year is the very accomplished, award-winning artist Milessa Murphy. The public is invited to attend the events on both Friday evening and Saturday, and The Cove will be open for public viewing all day during the event on Saturday.

All Creation Sings

Sunday, October 13th, 2-5pm

Amelia Audish , Linda Herbert , and Melinda Whitten present "All Creation Sings"  with brilliant  brush strokes and intricate lines of ink. In this luscious collection of images, the artists have expressed reflections of nature in all of it's splendor. This show will inspire the eye and the heart to feel peace, and will awaken the senses of what nature can truly bring to one’s spirit through God's creation.
