Magda Plagge
Painter
Maria Magdalena Plagge was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, México. Ever since she was very young, she knew I wanted to be an artist. During high school she studied arts and humanities, and participated in several exhibitions in Mexico during those years. In college Magda began to study graphic design, then transferred to a Bible college, where she studied theology. Through marriage, moving to the United States, and raising two daughters, Maria remained passionate about painting.
In 2018, she and her family moved to Frisco, Texas, where she began to paint again as a professional artist. She joined the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco (VAGF), Frisco Arts association, and Visual Arts Society of Texas (VAST), which has given her the opportunity to display her art in galleries in the DFW metroplex. In 202I, Magda received an invitation to be represented in Italy, and to be part of an artist movement there called Pentastrattismo. Her work was shown in the Picenum Auction House and Art Gallery in Cingoli, Italy.
